Meeting Point and time for Whale-Watching in Tromso:


Location: Scandic Ishavshotel, Tromso.

Price: 2400 NOK per person

When: Latest at 05:20 am.

Duration: 12 hours.

Back in Tromso: 17:30, in time for northern lights tour if you wanna join that the same day.

Specifics: The bus will be stationed near the main entrance of the hotel.

Please ensure you arrive independently and approach the bus directly. Note: We do NOT offer pickup from other locations. Before boarding, ask the driver to verify if your booking name is on their list. Ensure you're on board by 05:20 am.


Included: Skipper/guide, transfer, meal, floatation suit, boots, and essential gear.

Notes & Restrictions

If the participant has any disease or any health conditions that in any way can influence the trip, the participant is obliged to inform the guide. The trip is not recommended for pregnant women or persons suffering from back pain or neck pain.

Minimum height: 140 cm

Please be ready at the pick-up location 10 minutes before departure

Please do not ask about personal pick up. Drivers have limited driving time by law, and we need to spend that time on the tour, and not on personal pick up.

The Scenic Journey: Your journey to Skjervoy unveils Norway's ethereal landscapes. Especially the Lyngen Alps, regarded by many as Norway's most beautiful mountain range, boasting countless glaciers and sharp peaks rising up to 1830m. The view from the bus window promises a spectacular prelude to the marine marvels awaiting.
 

Safety and Guidelines:

  • We strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines set by authorities.
     

  • For any pickup issues, contact our bus service, Best Arctic, at 0047 953 03 888.
     

  • Remember to check your emails both before bedtime and first thing upon waking for any weather-related changes. Those who respond first get priority in rescheduling opportunities.
     

Suit Sizing & Safety: We prioritize your safety and comfort. Floatation suits up to size XXXL are provided, fitting individuals up to 2m 10cm tall and of a corresponding build. If you exceed these dimensions or have concerns about suit fit, please consider alternative tour options. Properly wearing a floatation suit is non-negotiable for participation.
 

Food & Beverages: While a baguette is provided, due to the tour's length, consider packing additional snacks and drinks. Meals will not be available until around 13:15.
 

Restroom Facilities: There are basic restroom facilities at Skjervoy. To maximize your time with the whales, it's recommended to use the bus restroom just before arriving in Skjervoy.
 

Photography: You are welcome to photograph the majestic scenes, but ensure your camera has protection against sea spray.
 

Eco Commitment: While our boat only accommodates 12 guests to ensure an intimate and personalized experience, our transfer bus can host up to around 50 people. By teaming up with other operators and consolidating transportation, our sustainable approach significantly reduces our carbon footprint.
 

Booking & Cancellations: In the rare event we must cancel due to unforeseen conditions, you’ll receive a full refund.
