ACTIVITY DETAILS
Season: 1 December – 31 March (If the snow has not come, we drive with carts)
Meeting Point: 08:00 outside Scandic Ishavshotel Tromsø, the Activenorth bus leaves at 08:15. Look for the Activenorth bus. Arrival in Helligskogen Fjellstue ca 10:30. Back in Tromsø ca 17.00.
Duration: 3.5 hr at the Camp (Preparations, instructions, approx. 1 hr 30 min dog sledding, snack and relaxing at the camp) + transfer from Tromsø ca 2 hours each way.
Level: medium. The dog sledding activity is physically challenging

Meet our friendly Alaskan Huskies, eager to greet you with excited barks as they pull your sled into the stunning Skibotn valley. Glide through towering pine forests and the snowy white mountains, with breathtaking views of the Lyngen Alps along the way.
Upon arrival in Skibotn, you’ll be provided with warm outdoor clothing and shoes to keep you comfortable throughout the adventure.
Our experienced dog mushers will give you a full briefing on driving a dog sled. You’ll ride in pairs, with one driver and one passenger, and you’ll have the opportunity to switch roles during the journey.
The trip lasts approximately 1.5 hours, with a midway break to take photos, cuddle the dogs, and swap drivers. Upon returning to the camp, enjoy a hot meal, fresh mountain spring water, and a cup of coffee or tea. If you’ve booked another experience with us, your guide will pick you up after the meal.
Magic Tromsø is here to guide you in the jungle of tours and the payment will be collected directly by the provider. This means that when the booking is done, you need to reach out directly to the provider for any changes / cancellations or if you are running late to the pick up. The details will be found in your confirmation (as well as the pick up details) For any unexpected events Magic Tromsö can not be hold reliable, and the provider should reach out to you directly.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customer cancellation/changes
In order to cancel or change your reservation, you need to contact Visit Lyngenfjord AS (Not the supplier!) to cancel or change your booking.
Please also note that in case of cancelation the following fees apply:
•Cancellation can be made until 10 days before arrival with 100 % refund
•Cancellation less than 9 days before arrival will not be refunded.
A change from your booking is regarded as a cancellation.
Cancellations/Major changes from suppliers
Cancellations or major changes may occur if:
•Conditions out of our control; the weather, accidents etc.
•Conditions for the booking is not met; minimum number of participants (2), age etc.
If this type of cancellation happens, and you do not accept the alternative provided to you, the supplier refund 100 % of the cost for that part of the reservation. In order to ensure a good experience for you, the supplier might have to change minor details in your reservation. This may be caused by weather conditions.
Magic Tromsø will not be held liable for any last-minute cancellation/change made by the tour provider. For cancellation and change requests, please contact the company directly. Details are provided in the confirmation email.
The 10 days cancellation policy doesn't apply unless the provider is contacted directly.
