Snowmobile Adventure to the 3-country-border of Norway, Finland and Sweden

 
 


Join us on true Arctic Adventure crossing the 3-country border of Norway, Finland and Sweden where we race over frozen lakes and manoeuvre our machines in the wild nature of the north.


New start early in the morning from Tromsø center and reach our destination after aroujnd 2,5 hours of driving. Our destination for the day is the Finnish village of Kilpisjärvi, where we will get dressed in warm suits, boots and protective gear.

After a safety breifing of how to ride the snowmobile in a safe way we will make our way over a frozen lake to the border. This place is often called “the most peachful boder in the world”

We make many photostops along the way and you have the chance to switch driver, if you are sharing your snowmobile. During the second part of the trip we will ride througg uneven terrain and the snowy forest. If we are lucky and the weather is on our side we can have a fantastic view over the Finnish tundra.

When we arrive back to Kilpisjärvi a warm lunch around a fire place in a wooden lavvo will await us. When we return to Tromsø we will have many new experiences and amazing photos that will leave your friends and family back home speechless

Duration: Around 9.5 hours.

Pick up at 07:00, drop off before 17:00 (9-10 hours). Includes a 2-hour bus ride to our destination in Finland

ABOUT THIS TOUR

  • Please dress warm. A woollen base layer and at least one pair of woollen socks are a must

  • It takes about 2.5 hours in our comfortable bus to reach our destination in Finland

  • We may cancel this trip any time for safety reasons. In this case, a full refund will be provided

  • All participants must follow the rules discussed in the safety briefing. Participants that endanger themselves or others in any way, will be excluded from the tour without the possibility of a refund

  • This trip starts early. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds for short-notice cancellations and no-shows.

  • The snowmobiles are insured with a liability of up to 1,000 EUR. That means, the driver of the snowmobile will have to pay up to 1,000 EUR on the spot to cover damages caused by the driver. Following the rules set by the tour guides will greatly reduce the risk of accidents.

  • No car driving license required to drive or participate in the trip

    Requirement

    This trip requires a minimum of 6 snowmobiles booked. If we have less than that, the trip may be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided. The minimum age for this trip is 8 years for the passenger and 18 years for the driver.

    Magic Tromsø will not be held liable for any last-minute
    cancellation/change made by the tour provider. For cancellation and
    change requests, please contact the company directly. Details are
    provided in the confirmation email.

    The 72 h cancellation policy doesn't apply unless the provider is contacted directly.
