It all started when…

Meet your hosts in our cosy shop in the city centre. Your local guide will welcome you with a hot drink, and after a quick introduction, it’s time to learn a bit more of the fascinating science behind the Northern Lights. Before starting your tour, your guide will explain the weather conditions in the local area, and where you headed tonight. Before hitting the road, remember to visit the bathroom, as toilet breaks are limited to nature. You will start your journey in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter, where our professional driver ensures your safety.

More than just a chase

While driving, your guide will keep you entertained as you learn more about the rich history and culture of Northern Norway. Once your guide found ideal weather conditions, in one of our favourite stops, hop into our warm thermal suit, and enjoy a hot drink and light dinner around the fire. Listen to the silence of the Arctic wilderness and enjoy the beauty around you. Enjoy star-glazing, storytelling of all the local myth and legends while waiting for the magical Northern Lights to appear.  Don`t forget to have fun, and always smile as photography is all included.

The tour lasts between 6-9 hours, depending on the weather conditions and how far you have to drive. After accomplishing our mission of showing you the magic of the north, we will drive you safely back to your central hotel.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Customer will receive a full (100%) refund for all cancellations made 48 hours prior to activity start. No refund for cancellations will be made less than 48 hours prior to activity start. *More details regarding cancellation under the Book Now page.

Magic Tromsø will not be held liable for any last-minute
cancellation/change made by the tour provider. For cancellation and
