Fjord Cruise, Arctic Wildlife & Culture Safari: This safari takes you through the stunning fjords around Tromsø and offers the opportunity to spot amazing wildlife along the way. Enjoy a scenic cruise and spend time out on the wild seas while discovering Northern Norway’s beautiful nature. Drift back in time and listen to stories filled with Norwegian history and culture. Pass by local settlements and landmarks as we bring their stories and folklore to life.

HIGHLIGHTS

Explore the fjords and enjoy the beautiful nature while looking for unique arctic wildlife. Every day is different, but we have the possibility or observing majestic sea eagles, dolphins, porpoises, seals, reindeer and more.

In the winter, the sky of Northern Norway is filled with magical polar daylight of pink and light blue. Combined with the snow-capped mountains and fjords, the mesmerizing view is a perfect backdrop for a photo shoot, especially with the opportunity of seeing wildlife.

As we sail along the arctic fjords, you’ll learn about the Norwegian history & culture, from the German Invasion & World War II to chronicles of the Old Whaling station and how Norwegians were dependent on whaling as a way of life. As we pass by historical landmarks and old settlements, we imagine these people’s way of life as far as 10,000 years ago.

Appropriate winter gear should be windproof, waterproof and hefty enough to withstand the elements and keep you warm. Merino wool base layers and socks, warm boots, gloves, and hats are highly recommended.
