MS Gabriele sets out on a whale watching from Tromsø in the morning, looking for humpback whales and killer whales. This guided cruise takes you out to the places where these graceful giants come in search of herring. You can experience the whale from the panoramic windows of the spacious and comfortable lounge on board, then step out into the crisp Arctic air on deck to get even closer to the whale.

Duration:

6 hour round trip with a safe and environmentally friendly catamaran, No disembarkation during the trip. The duration of the trip depends on where the whale is located, and can therefore vary somewhat.

Serving:

MS Gabriele has a kiosk on board where you can buy coffee/tea, mineral water, beer and wine, as well as snacks and something light to eat.

Clothes:

Warm clothes intended for being out in polar regions, remember hat and gloves.

Humpback whales can grow up to 16 meters long and are known for their fantastic "break" when they burst straight out of the water. Black and white killer whales travel in large groups in search of herring. If we're lucky, we'll also see porpoises, and we'll get to experience a number of wild arctic birds.

Tromsø is located north of the Arctic Circle, and although it is dark in the period 27 November to 15 January, there are still hours of magical blue twilight for parts of the day. The boat trip from Tromsø through the fantastic fjord landscape is magical.

MS Gabriele is a perfect boat to experience whale watching. The boat is large and spacious, with plenty of space both outside and inside. The boat is stable even in rough seas, and it is the fastest of all the providers so that we quickly reach the whales.

The boat is warm and cozy, but you should wear clothing to be out on deck.

MS Gabriele is adapted for the disabled, with a large toilet and two window seats for wheelchair users.

WHALE WARRANTY:

There is no guarantee that you will see whales on this whale watching tour, but we have some of the most experienced skippers in the industry who will do everything they can to ensure that you experience the whale.

If you don't get to experience humpback whales or killer whales on the trip, don't worry - we give you the opportunity to join the next available whale watching, completely free of charge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Cancellation for Individuals
1. The online booking is binding once the tour is confirmed and paid for. However, we will refund the costs if the cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before the tour.
2. We recommend that you obtain your own travel insurance, including cancellation insurance. If you become ill in a way that prevents you from completing the tour, you must contact your insurance company. Refund will be provided by the insurance company if you have cancellation insurance.

The tour provider can cancel tours for the following reasons:
1. If the number of travelers is insufficient to carry out the tour.
2. If events occur that are beyond the control of the tour operator and were unforeseeable at the time of booking. This may include events such as weather, war, natural disasters, epidemics, industrial emissions, or similar (force majeure) that make it difficult for the operator to conduct the tour.
3. The tour operator must inform the customer of the cancellation as soon as possible. If a tour is canceled, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price (if the ticket has been pre-paid). The customer cannot claim any form of compensation beyond this, unless the customer has suffered losses due to gross errors on the part of the operator.

Magic Tromsø will not be held liable for any last-minute
cancellation/change made by the tour provider. For cancellation and
